This is the only video you will see showing Crystal holding a guitar. Unlike her sister Loretta who used the guitar in many of her early performances, Crystal moved away from the pure country imagery for a more middle-of-the-road appearance. However, she has never strayed from her good, old-fashion country values.

@bookieswartz I agree with you that Crystal looks younger in this video than 20 years old. She is singing a James Taylor song that was released in 1968 (not one of her recordings), so my guess is that this appearance is from early 1970 before she started recording her own songs. By August 1970 she had recorded and released "I've Cried the Blue Right Out of My Eyes" (written by her sister Loretta Lynn).
"Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue" came out much later in 1977.

I beiieve ..she's younger.. around 16 years old... coz she sang " Don't it make my brown eyes blue" when she was 19 years old..
