@wallabees And the spirit/soul he mentions is also invisible, so is he therefore a fool?
-
Atkins mentions spirit/soul on a number of occasions, so how does something, living, get designed without a divine creator?
-
@LBBSTOMAJCCDP There is no polite way to tell somebody their belief in invisible things is foolish

Though I take the side of Craig I feel sorry for those on the opposition who were so poorly represented. Dawkins would have made somewhat of a contest of proceedings.
-
Atkins......has not proven one single point....Craig won....big time.
-
@shawndimery really!? precisely what arguments did he put forth that were not refuted? I am six minutes into his opening and he has said nothing
-
The way Atkins talks to the audience is actually rather creepy.
All I heard from Atkins were insults, excuses, and a British accent.

Atkins appears to be trying to prepare the audience for a very forward concept. A concept that will destroy what religious types consider the basis for living. Science is a very elaborate path of information starting from the cause and moving to the effect (my idea of it anyways). Religion is generally a filler to fill in gaps to areas where Science has yet to fill. He says laziness because he (like myself) believe to do so is to abandon the search for information to fill the gap.
