In this clip Arnie's dreams come true as he is now allowed to run over the A-frame. I would recommend using the A-frame at a lower height to start with. This will also help your dog build up the experience of weight transfer. Arnie has been over a full height equipment plenty of times hence the current height of the equipment. I am holding his collar to create drive and then when I release him he is focused forward and wanting to get to the lid. He drives over the top of A-frame, with no concern to where the handler is - which is great. As he comes down the other side he is looking for the lid. He drives down and just before he stops he transfers the weight onto his hind legs and lower his front end to enable him to get his nose/chin on the target. He does this independent of the handler. Ensure you reward the correct behaviour, the release and the exercise. Repeat the exercise with the handler on the other side and vary the position so you run past the dog on the contacts (getting ahead of him) or hanging back.
