COMMON FACILITY CENTRE:
1.Work Shed for CFC -- Complete & functional from February 2010.(3100 sq.ft)

2.INSTALLATION OF MACHINERY / EQUIPMENTS

Layout of 300kgs Moisture Reduction Plant for HONEY Processing installed and operational at plant building. Other equipments like foil sealed, bar-coding system etc. are also installed.

3.COMMON FACILITY TO BE RENDERED

(a) Scientific processing, Supply of bee kits (SS smoker, Uncapping knife, queen cage, queen cell protector, grafting needle set, frame gripper, bee brush, etc.) bee medicines (Association members), comb foundation sheets, bee colonies, bee boxes, pollen Traps, collection and preservation of pollens, technical literatures, floral calendar, display CD relating to technical aspects enrichment and sales on demand through sales outlet ( Sales outlet party functional) also need based training on bee diseases, pest control, Queen rearing , Royal Jelly prod, organizing workshop/seminar etc. in a systematic way.




(b) Go down / storage facility shall also be available for the intended beekeepers.




(c) Also future facility like Deep fridge (subzero temp.) for Royal Jelly preservation, Pollen drier, Laminar Airflow System for sterilization, disposable pouch packing etc. (2009-10 & 2010-11).

AGMARK LABORATORY: Already set up and functional at CFC.
ACCREDITATION UNDER ISO 9001:2008 : Awaited from BLS authority.




B. UNDER CAPACITY BUILDING MEASURES :
1. Awareness Programme : Completed.
2. Master trainers' (Beekeepers') training : Completed.
3. Breekeers and Migration site farmers meet - Completed.
4. Technical intervention -- Technology for pollen collection : (Expect faculty of CBRTI, PUNE KVIC).




5. Batch wise training

Completed 581 nos./ (under Pollen collection and scientific Skill Development) (Remaining beekeepers' also to be covered at various cluster migration sites. Total target -- 800 + nos. beekeepers)


6.SPECIAL AREA OF TECHNOLOGY DISSEMINATION

Partly completed. Varroa mites' control-48 nos. Royel Jelly production & Package bee's technology in concise, Propolis & bee venom -- 46 nos. (Batch wise conducted by expert from CBRTI, Pune to cluster level Beekeepers with the aim for their better earnings, generation of addl. Workforce as a part of inhibition and dent through interventions and enrichment.)


7.ON CONVERGENCE

(A) 95 nos. beekeepers received funds from PNB. Another 60 nos. in pipe line. PNB is also being negotiated for institutional cash credit.


8.TRAINING OF TECHNICAL PERSONNEL FROM 1.A :

2 nos. on Honey Processing Plant operation and testing of Honey from CBRTI, Pune.
