i remember watching the weather channel this day and they were saying that there was a tornado warning in kansas and then i remember seeing greensburg, and then the next day i saw that the town got hit with this huge devestating tornado.

@Rahkayelle A Tornado Emergency is issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) when a large or violent tornado is expected to impact a populated area. the wording " Tornado Emergency" is used simply to enhance wording and to stress the severity of the paticular storm. A Tornado Warning is also serious and means doplar radar or trained spotters have indicated a Tornado or a storm with rotation capable of producing a Tornado. Tornado watch means conditions are favorable for Tornadoes.
