  • cool I bought me a fan for about 5 bucks its from around the 1920s its a table top fan but it has only one blade I thought it was broken but back in the 20s thats the way they made them,,,works great ,,,,

  • @Dolphindream15 one blade?

  • @1944johndeerel yes it has only one blade weird looking but it was made that way and yes it still works my video camara doesnt have any sound I wish I can put more on my you tube channel Im tryin to save my money up for a DVD RECORDER and perhaps a vidoe cam,,but it will be a long time before that happens ,,,but as soon as I can I will video the old one blade fan,,,

  • @Dolphindream15 does it have a brand name or model?

  • @1944johndeerel Hi I found a little info on that single blade fan I have all thats written on the base of the fan is,,,Barber-coleman-company-Rockford,Ill,USA 115v-60cy-AC only thats all it says it still works Im guessing its from the 1920s dont know,,,but it has one blade,,,

  • @Dolphindream15 i know what those are. they actually are 2 bladed fans if its the smaller model. and it is made of bakelite which is an early plastic. neat little things

  • @1944johndeerel it is a smaller one but has no plastic the blade is single doesnt appear to have anything broken,,,so Im guessing its a single bladed fan strange looking but it sure puts out for a one blader,,,still has the oringal rubber cord,,,,all except the plug itself on the end that had to be fixed,,but its solid metal,,Ill have to try to use my digtal cam and film it but my digtal cam for some reason has no sound

  • @1944johndeerel Ill have to look and let you know I keep some of my old things at my mothers house Ill have to look and see whats on it Ill let ya know,,,

  • i would open it up for you exept its a royal pain to get the stamped steel end plate out it is pressed into the motor housing. i have had it apart to put a modern cord on it but ill try!

  • Neat little fan! Take it apart so we can see how it is constructed. I had no idea they ever made another type single-bearing fan other than the pancakes.
