  • Casevil - don't try that rubbish here. Peter and Jacque used to work together in public until the Venus project threw a hissy fit and inexplicably "left". Don't pretend Peter stole things from him in secret. And Jacque got his inferences from many other sources without ever openly admitting where he got it. This is about working together, not dividing.

  • The sad part is the amount of people who are so scared of any real change that they prefer to continue supporting a monetary system even though they know the future can only keep on getting worse.

  • A lot of the comments on here are from people who have done very little research into TZM. Do your research and I can assure that most of you will be inspired by the ideology. TZM offers many solutions to our current state of affairs, and can manifest a globally emerged system, where social design and technology balance abundantly.

  • @stri2003 Oh, so you're saying that the Zeitgeist Movement is the fulfillment of communism that the world couldn't achieve 100 years ago?

    No thank you.

  • @niriop I agree, well said.

  • Communism was never applied, simply because the technology and the knowledge of the time were inadequate. Even Lenin in his writtings admits that he would not built communism because he was unable to do so. The Soviet system was a form of premature socialism. All those technologies like geothermal etc. were unknown 100 years ago.The same applies to the environmental issues of today. Back then the effects of human activity were unknown. Now however it is possible and zeitgeist demonstrates that.

  • i like how he compares wikipedia to THE WORLD.

so much more complex than what is described here ...

What about order? safety?even if you live in an aware and plentyfull society you have to have something to protect you just in case,

and im not even talking about the transition to such an environment

  • @niriop A group of people coming together, deciding what's best for people sounds like a Republic to me. Except in this case, there won't be any money to corrupt politicians, which we here in the U.S. have first hand experience with.

  • Zeitism is still a form of communism--the Venus Project fits the classification of a communist society near exactly, that of a society based around a non-monetary gift economy, even if it has been watered down to the level at which uneducated teenage lay-abouts can understand it. The speaker is a disengenuous pseudo-intellectual sophist.

However, from what I have read, it seems that Zeitism will almost immediately degrade into technocratic oligarchic managerism upon a real world application.

  • Hears a question how do u expect to get from were we are today to a resourse based economy
