If you are going to start talking about appreciation you should start without using "gay." Also there is tons of appreciation, you are looking in the wrong areas, if you are talking about mainstream, then well its nowhere to be found, but there's dedicated concerts, radio stations, websites, school activities. I don't see a class for "rap artist appreciation."
