Cherry Shrimp Breeding Tank Set Up.AVI

always want to see the real size of baby shrimp, just cant see it in the main tank, so enough is enough, set this up and hope to receive any comment... thanks

Very nice set up you got there. I have a question, should you separate eggs from the bigger ones? Will the shrimp eat their babies like some fish do?

@MrRogpog i separate the egg carrier shrimp from the main tank simply to see the real size of baby, not sure if the mother shrimp will eat the baby, i just put lots of plants in the baby tank for them to hide, then i will take the mother away as soon i see the baby is hatched. they are so tiny and now i have over 100 babies!!

Really, you can let them breed in the main tank itself, the parents will not eat the babies.

can anyone explain what the tubes are used for? and how to set them up? Is it to provide current or air circulation?

@hippo228 Oh wow, thats quite a bit of them. I only have like 4 or 5 of them around XD I also use them so I noticed. I really like your tank by the way, it looks great :)
