Prototype of my electric snowblower chute deflector. I used a wiper motor running from a 6 volt battery to slow the motor down. Inspired by similar devices on the web.

Why?, because I enjoy tinkering & using the crank is a pita.
Freezing? no, because I switched to a metal chute that has a remote cable operated deflector for now.

Good for you. Looks like a great design and simple execution and a wonderful use for the wiper motor.
