Riverfront Projects 2010 STAGE & RTB

RTB -- Retention Treatment Basin -- this is a major project of the Infrastructure Stimulus Fund where Windsor will have a retention and cleaning area for the city's near-east-side when large storms cause a combined overflow of regular and storm-water sewage. As it stands now during such storms this combined sewage overflows directly into the Detroit river. This project as well as the permanent Festival Plaza stage has an equaled completion date slated for March, 2011. If all goes well, next summer's festivals will have a better stage that will face in the opposite direction of the old one. Both projects will bring Windsor's waterfront up to snuff with such projects offered by any other city. Windsor is finally getting it's share. Thanks to all involved!
