These idiots comments do not reflect all viewers. Based on your instructions and website, I was able to replace my 2009+ Imac HD knowing what to do BEFORE I started. I'd like to thank you for showing how easy it is. It took me 15 minutes if that, Not counting the trip to the store to purchase the HD. The hardest part was removing any dust that may have settled on the screen. EASY EASY EASY. Thanks.

@T4TUT lol ahh im not a dumb ass i just like to troll but i have to agree with you about the all in one pc's in my opinion i dont think its just macs as much as just about any compact pc is a pain in the A hole to upgrade/repair still to this date though the hardest upgrade i ever did was upgrading my imac g4 hdd and dvd drive and itx pcs are hard to work in as well yeah i know im a troll but you know replacing the hdd in a pc in a atx case is damn easy

Thank you for posting this tutorial. I just followed along with you on my iPhone to replace my dead 320G Western Digital HD with a new 3.0TB Seagate. I have an Early 2008 24" 2.8GHZ Core Duo iMac. Everything was just as easy as you made it look. The biggest obstacle that I found was getting the tape off of my microphone wire. My Mac had never been opened and that tape was really on there.

I'm 1 of the "a lot" of people who isn't computer literate. When you talk about computer parts, it's like your telling me where's your "mastoid process" part of a bone?!? You should've zoom in while pointing to where you disconnect the wire instead of edit & then we see a zoom in disconnecting something.
