Dairy producer John Vrieze uses the manure generated on his dairy to create natural gas. Further processing purifies water, and an experimental process with algae may one day generate fuel for use on the farm.

  • Hey great work. You are the first person I've seen to use biogas and algea together. the two systems should compliment each other well. You can even feed your cattle the algae cake and the glycerine from the bio diesle can go in the digester...If we still had our dairy farm I would have been all over this kind of stuff. Again this is great to see, nice work.

  • where they get their CO2? if they buy CO2 from suppliers which is not cheep so how they make profit?
