Now that I'll agree with sunofnibiru. The dumbing down of America is real. The really crazy part is, watch some of the older black and white T.V shows, such as Alfred Hitchcock's work. It's simply amazing, at how well written the scripts are, with the twists and turns in the plots. The same can be said for what passes as modern literature, and literary works of old....by and large, our society has become dangerously stupid.

and we wonder why other countries make fun of us....................my mom often jokes that the commercials you see on TV now contain more creativity than the actual shows - which in my opinion, is true - I love the new AM EX commercial where all the different scenes form "sad faces," then they turn to happy faces...remember the split screen car commercial where on the left they had a person, and their facial expressions matched the front of the car being shown on the right?

It's not only us though sixstanger00, it's other countries as well. Reality T.V is the latest rage in Europe. They want as much of it as they can get. The Main Stream media uses this as a tool to swing popular support, and to control the masses also. Simply place enough egotistical, righteous, pompous, assholes on one scream raving about a certain thing, and the masses will fall in line right behind them. It also shows the level of greed, at how people will demean themselves over money....
