  • and we all no who is to blame for not doing any testing ,the patient, no, the doctor . not that he would be qualified or even know how to do that testing so what is your point, people should not be treated for bacterial infections because of a risk that some harmful bacteria survive

    and get passed to another human. you cant ban antibiotic use period.

  • Well they are over prescribed. They are given like it's no big deal and people don't know enough about their use so they end up not finishing them or taking them not as prescribed. So it can be said they are overused. Warnings and proper information are not given with antibiotics. Also, they are given without doing tests to find out the real problem, often when the person has a viral problem which does not respond to antibiotics.

  • dead bugs don't mutate or adapt period.

    what they will do is survive. any advantage a surviving microbe has will be amplified in effect and in numbers.

    it is the improper selecton of antibiotics by physicans , not the over use by patients that had reduced selecton of approate choices of antibiotics.
