  • Brent wanted to why do I want to cheat to the backhand grip to volley is this ok if I use continental backhand volleys want to go long. Thanks john

  • Great tip!!! I was doing this mistake, I decided to do a slice serve and than change to a flat serve after the toss and in most of the occasion I missed the serve.

    Thanks.

  • I have tried that tip! It worked pretty well!

But why ? Actually, I also got troubles on my serve directions. To improve it, I always focus on my serve motion, my rackethead but it never helped me, I have to say, this tip helped me a lot yesterday

But I would like to know why visualizing where we want to serve before serving have technical consequences on our serve direction ? Because Scrabbeking is right, it is a mental tip, but a mental tip which have technical results on our serve, why?

  • Brent, such a great simple mental idea about what to think about. Mechanics of how to play are important, but I LOVE these tips on how to think during play. The mental game is so HUGE for me. I still sometimes have fear of losing, while in a match, against weaker players who are in my social network outside of tennis. I get this absolutely must not lose mentality and never play my best then. What should I be thinking out there on the court?

  • In the most hetrosexual way, I love this guy!

I havent even tried doing this, but the way it was explained just made something click in my head, that light bulb just got brighter I think :D

this just sounds like a great analytical way of practicing the serve and to help realize what needs to change in the motion to get the results you want more efficiently and consistently... once observed and registered in memory.

Thank you for making this video !
