As Eric Schmidt of Google has described Web 3.0 as per the virility, usability & ubiquity of Web applications, so too does Coates in his book Ecstacity define, explore & describe architecture as a distribution method for ideas that flow from the imaginary & virtual to the literal & material through interpersonal connections & response to place. (He says as much here.) Architecture as a framework for human action is a richer design approach than the consideration of building as a theory of space.
