Star Fox Assault Playthrough (Gold Difficulty) Part 2, 1/2

One of my favorite levels, this is also one that takes longer than the others simply because of how many targets you need to hit. Relatively easy. I didn't go for the badge here, because I'm trying to cut back on video time as much as I can.

Primary Mission:
Destroy all large, blue, bomb-throwing enemies

Mission Update:
Destroy all yellow aparoid hatchers

Boss:
Giant aparoid spider


Level Strategy for Badge:
Shoot as many things as possible... in as less time as possible. Since this is Fox's first on-foot level, you will have combos that add up as you kill each enemy. Each +10 combo you get earns you bonus points that add up as you kill more and more enemies, so make sure the combo meter doesn't run out! Use the landmaster at all times when you're outside of the base, only use Fox himself when you need to run inside of it to destroy some hatchers. For the room that requires an elevator entrance, use the gatling gun (acquired by destroying both large, "rolling" enemies that take five hits to kill) so that you can take out the large, shielded enemy without having to switch weapons.

Boss Strategy:
The Aparoid Spider boss can be a serious pain in the tail if you're on the ground, trying to shoot it. Get up onto the base itself, then shoot the pink weak point node on its underside until it falls. (should take four shots). Once it falls, hurry and hover onto the top of it. Its Primary weak point node is there. Shoot at it constantly until it covers up and starts to power up its green lasers. Start hovering when this happens, and situate yourself on another part of the top of the spider. Repeat this strategy until it starts to violently move around, trying to shake you off. Hold down the brake, and try your best to aim and shoot at the node. If you kill it, good job! If it knocks you off, repeat this entire strategy until it dies.

Separated into two parts because it was a little over 10 minutes, I thought I could speed up some unimportant pieces of gameplay to shrink it down so I wouldn't separate. Didn't really work, and I left the sped-up parts in just for kicks and giggles. Enjoy!
