A retrospective - 10 years of é SALON
Many aspects of our life start as just a dream; a desire to achieve what we think may just be impossible. With some careful thought and consideration, this dream then progresses into a more rounded idea and belief in oneself, and before you realise it, this dream is achieved, and turned into a reality.
Ten years ago, Emiliano Vitale, the Creative Director of the award-winning and internationally acclaimed e SALON in Australia, had one such dream. His dream was for him and his team to create collections that would not only be artistic and on trend, but that would be worthy of winning awards and being published in magazines all over the world.
"Hairdressing is ultimately about the feeling it gives you and the person you become in the process," states Emiliano, in the video. "In retrospect we have changed and developed differently, creatively speaking, yet we are all committed to achieving our dreams of first and foremost presenting beautiful work, then winning awards, and ultimately being recognised for our contribution to the hairdressing industry by being published in magazines worldwide."
In 2010, it is fair to say that Emiliano Vitale and the e SALON Artistic Team are living their dreams; not only are the collections they are creating beautiful, but they are award-winning and being published in a plethora of international magazines. Emiliano and e SALON have even been lauded as one of the world's most influential hair trend leaders for 2010!
This journey throughout the last decade has been captured on video through Emiliano's eyes and narration, providing an exceptional insight into the stunningly beautiful collections é SALON has produced, and the pride in which the salon's artistic team takes in their approach to their dreams and their work.
"My team and I are committed to pushing ourselves creatively and to continuously explore new ideas which represent original, yet current global hair trends," says Emiliano. "This to me is paramount in our own personal journeys of creative excellence, ensuring we are continually pursuing and contributing to the advancement of the Australian Hairdressing Industry."
