@Kallypsoo, thanks for your awesome comment:) I made the hat with my Mom, as well as the rest of the costume. To make the hat, we rolled a sheet of paper, attached it to a circle of cardboard, and then covered that with fabric. After, we took a wire and formed it into a larger circle around the base, and connected that to the top with more fabric...

Then, we covered the entire hat in black lace, spray painted it green and gold, added a pink ribbon, added hair pins (they were made out of the stems of fake flowers with plastic jewels glued back-to-back on top), added a feather, and then you have the Mad Hatter Hat:D

My mom and I made the hat, and the entire costume ourselves. To make the hat we rolled a sheet of paper, attached it to a circle of cardboard, then we covered that with fabric.
