SAMRU: Students need to vote!

In the upcoming Federal Election on May 2, 2011, it is important that students realize the impact their votes have. This satirical video created by the SAMRU 2010-2011 Executive Committee and the SAMRU Communications department challenges students to think about all that their vote can mean.

If you are happy with the status quo, are content with decision-makers not valuing your education, or enjoy having to choose between food and textbooks -- then don't vote!

@effinlia "He is so close, in projected polls, to winning this election." Huh?! No they're not. The Liberals are dropping at a massive rate, while the NDP is skyrocketing and as of now tied with the Libs in some of the major national polls. Cons are basically fluctuating around the high 30s, while the Bloc might even lose its Quebec majority to the NDP.

Realistically, the Liberals have no chance at winning this one. Layton has a much better chance at becoming leader of the Official Opposition.
