Medical Studies 90% WRONG

By far and away, the biggest "problem" with scientific studies is scientifically illiterate media hypesters misunderstanding the science. "The planet was freezing" in the 70's myth was pure media. "Cell phones will kill you dead" - another bunch of media-hyped studies. If you read the original studies, they make very conservative claims in very limited, defined contexts. Then the media grabs a line or two from the synopsis, blows it out of proportion and context, and we're off to the races.

Patenting synthetic molecules that are unnecessary, and dangerous, just for maximizing profits.
