7. Who bears the moral responsibility for the actions of a psychopathic institution? The employees of the corporation can be the nicest people in their personal lives but still engage in monstrous endeavours at work. Can we separate the individual from the corporation?

  • Friedman is a retard! A corporation is made up of a board. A board is made up of people...people that should be morally conscious about what they are doing. To say that you can't hold a corporation responsible is a lie at best.

  • Oh poor millionaire billionaire CEO. Let's all feel sorry for them they really cant be blamed for all the lay offs They really have no power. Give me a fuckin break

  • @jalriteythen not only in legal terms, he says more than that.

  • Mitt Romney said corporations are people and we need them. I tend to think not, I believe people are capable to work for themselves. More rights to the individual will open up all kinds of jobs, small business and trading.

  • @thepunkpilot he is speaking of it in legal terms.

  • @MPArmstrong84 Pedophilia is not an established Social Institution, as was Slavery, a better comparison would be a police officer that is forced to arrest a close friend, or a member of his own family...

Please do not over-dramatize your argument, and if you have information to share then SHARE IT. Quote Jefferson on slavery and provide a reference...

  • @wbaltzley You can NOT be serious. So that means a pedaphile that fights for children's rights is a victim of child abuse? I've heard a lot of really terrible arguements about slavery, but seriously, this is the worst. Yeah, there were abolitionists who inherited slaves, and guess what... They FREED THEIR SLAVES. And the fact that Washington freed his on his death bed holds NO weight! Also, you might wanna read what Jefferson actually said he would do with freed slaves. geez!

  • @MPArmstrong84 George Washington and Thomas Jefferson both owned slaves, and both fought for abolition at the Constituional Congress...There were abolitionists who inherited slaves who would have considered themselves victims of the system...Slavery harmed EVERYBODY...

  • @inquisitum I would not be opposed to such a bill...I would not be opposed if their charters were allowed to expire every 10 years...

  • @wbaltzley And I guess slave masters were victims of slavery? Get real!

  • Maybe corporations should die every 70 years.

  • YES!!! Abolish "Corporate Personhood" and ban corporations from politics... the population of our country isn't even aware they have been bought.
