It's funny, your safe place looks like mine in many ways. I have the same trees, but they're on both sides of a long and large alley of beautiful, neatly cut short grass, with a few posies here and there. There is also all this life going on : the insects, the birds, the sun, the fresh breeze, the wild animals in the forest - which are not a threat in any way - and a little further there is a pond with all it's biotope and the most marvelous lilies. That's one of my safe places.

The beach is such a healing and soothing place. The sand is pliable and the sound of the ocean waves calms a weary mind.

@miltoncruiser Thanks. The cows on the common are usually curious, but I wasn't expecting one to come over like that.

@Elenkhos I hadn't heard of the Tuatha De Danann before you mentioned them. I had to look it up. I am real (I am real and can provide contact details of traumatised men who can vouch for that).
