This Michael W. Smith song is an homage to the Written Word of God. It's God's love-letter to his children.

  • I was a drug addict that raped kids, but after hearing this song, i have given up my sinful ways. PRAISE BE TO GOD!

This comment made my day! Earlier, I accidently shot my neighbors dog, mistaking it for a bear. I was very sad at first, only to remember that that my neighbor were atheists and that this was God's way of showing that he did not watch over them. This made me even sadder, as I wish my neighbors would be good Christians like me.

But hearing your story has given me hope that one day, I may be able to turn them to God.

I love you and so does God!

  • @godismyfave Bad things happen to good people, and good things happen to bad people.

  • @1songonly l am glad that you have changed your ways, just make sure you stay close to God in order to stay victorious.:D

  • Praise the lord!!! (good song!)

  • Your video introduced me to this beautiful song, thanks for sharing.

  • @1songonly Just goes to shows that God loves even the wickedest people and is willing to help them.

  • I hope everyone is through throwing around his or her blather now. Suffice it to say that this is a beautiful arrangement of a song that can penetrate to the deepest part of your existence if you will be quiet and just listen. P.S. - - - While it is listed as a Michael W. Smith song, we should give credit where credit is due and note that he did not pen this masterpiece; rather, someone named Lynn DeShazo did.

  • Wow people think their all cool because they cuss and use the Lord name In the same sentence to me that's selfish.

  • @10tja wow...''ancient words''?? seriously. You know God wouldn't be pleased with your words. You may feel that way but you can use better words.

  • @nyierah I used ancient words to describe my feelings for this song.

  • @IfoundJesus3 How can say these words as a man of God? Sir, if you are truly a believer like Me, and this man who once did drugs, then rejoice! For a man was lost, but now is found! Was alone, but has come home to find truth in our Father! He is changed, that is all there is.
