I remember riding around with mom and Dad In our old Chevelle Malibu listening to this song on the 8 track player. My mom could sing the hell out of every Heart album we had.

Dreamboat Annie and Dog and Butterfly are just Dark and Hauntingly beautiful to me. They take me back to a different place and a different time, and that is alright with me What I wouldn't give to hear my mama sing and strum the hell out of this song again. I miss you Mom, this ones for you.

This song and all of heart`s songs bring me back to a special place in time. Life was just so good back then. I think of love and life and the freedom of being alive and playing this music in a band on my drums, and trying to sound like heart.

@Don Ely, I have done exactly the same thing, especially with car audio. There's an unbelievable range in the bass tones in this song between the drums and bass, and Ann's vocals and Roger's lead guitar riffs add the high notes. :-)
