Journey to Scammon's Lagoon

This is video I took in Baja California at Guerrero Negro a birth place of the California Gray Whales. Scammon's Lagoon is a protected "nursery" where the newborn whales are born and readied for their long journey north
to Alaska.

The trip was arranged through Birch and UCSD and I was invited to join this incredible group by Mary Coakley and Walter Munk.

There are also "still" photographs that I took, accompanied by some really nice ones from friends from Birch Aquarium and Scripps that accompanied me on the journey. Nigella Hillgarth took some especially beautiful ones.

I am loving sharing this experience with you.
It was truly remarkable and one that I will treasure forever.
