My mates Dad use to go bow hunting for pig in Tasmania and has seen heaps of them. His a normal down to earth guy. They ASSUME there extinct. They have never proven it.

@TasLon7 they are supposed to be shy but if your in its territory it will atack you your going into its home after all there wild animals that is like saying a dog is harmless and shy But there not if someone jumped the fence it would kill it but they wouldnt be shy they are mainley hidden and if people do see them they will scare them but 1 thing for sure is that it is A Real creature

I have several issues with this video... The recording at 1:00 of a 'genuine yowie' is the same recording used for Bigfoot in other videos, complete with the same dog barking in the background (in other words, it's been used before for other videos & is claimed to be recorded in North America... not Victoria!). I live in Tasmania & Thylacines are said to be shy & evasive. I know people who have seen them. Any dead animals would be scavenged by Tasmanian Devils leaving no remains...

That narrorator has got it all wrong, the thylacines were not vicous, but infact gentle.The narrorator made it look like they were the bad guys, and we were the good guys, but it is really the other way around, trust me, I know alot about this animal.
