I have no idea!!! I just changed my Electrolux because the belt or something broke. Changed to a condenser dryer. ... didnt know lint can be so dangerous but i do clean lint after every cycle.

A neighbor of mine had a small fire so I had mine done from boise air duct cleaning and i cant believe how much lint was in the line over the last 5 years. My dryer was getting very hot before, now its running like a champ! crazy the things you dont think think about until something horrible has to happen.

This is a great clip but the end concerns me. When asked if you should have your dryer vent professionally cleaned she says, "you can or dryers are not that heavy you can pull it out, pop that off & clean it out". In some houses, the dryer vent does not have a short exhaust. Newer homes especially have more complex dryer ducts, the laundry may be located in the middle of the home or on a second level. This means the clog could be in the duct line & unable to be reached without correct tools.

The lint contains moisture and accumulates on the vent walls like papier mache'. It gets VERY tough to get out by just sucking and blowing. Get that vent cleaning kit now! or hire a pro!

@GOINGCRAZYVIDEOS5 This is just too crazy. My house ALMOST caught on fire. We had a frigidaire model too. It came from the matted lint on the dryer wall. Sounds similar to what happened to you.

I just cleaned my dryer vent also. I used my electric leaf blower vacuum and I was able to suck a small pillow amount of lint then I used the blow feature to blow out the remaining lint. I thought the next step is to shop for a new dryer. I was wrong. We don;t need a new one. The vent was blocked ! Thank you for posting this life saving and money saving video
