Hayley Westenra - O Holy Night

For years Hayley's performances of this famous carol have been legendary. Her Christmas concerts always sell out. Such is the appeal of this incredible, once in a lifetime artist. This is another performance fron her concert at the Bath Forum, 12 December 2009. It received a full standing ovation, Hayley's third in a week. What on earth more does this girl have to do to get noticed? Apart from selling her soul to someone like Simon Cowell that is. She is the best kept secret in music for sure. A truly magnificent performance. I feel priveleged to have been there, and honoured to have been able to record it for posterity.

Dear Martin, You speak from my heart: What on earth more does this girl have to do to get noticed? She is the best kept secret in music for sure. But  would it be good for her to become famous??? Would she be happy? I am not so sure. Getting noticed often means being in chains (inside and outside). So what I wish for her is to be truly happy, as she keeps singing in this rainy world. She is a fabulous singer with a good heart, a beautiful human being, and seems a friend without knowing her.

Hi Martin. Thought I'd bump this and make it 40 likes and NO dislikes! I'm not sure if I've watched this before but WOW. She blows us away and doesn't even have to try very hard. Only Hayley gets to sing me Christmas songs in July.
