Quite right, nothing antiphonal in this, never written that way, never intended. Simply wonderful playing in a great transcription. I just wish these arrangements were more easily accessible.

Antiphonal? This was originally from the Fitwilliam Virginal Book, for keyboard. I normally cannot stand transcriptions, but the PJBE make such comments ridiculous. Magnificent stuff, and unfortunately, no one will ever match them...
