More truck less talk!

@sabthealmighty Not really, no...
I race at a track somewhat by where they had the 1/8 scale nat's last year. Its a dusty, large, jump filled track that SC trucks eat up. You can't get much traction even with 1/8 buggy tires.
Also, $1000 is a nice number, but I've barely spent over that with 4 years of being in the hobby, with a nitro 1/8 buggy and my Slash 4x4. Example: SC10 ($200), Castle SCT setup ($90), 2 2s lipo's ($50), 2.4ghz radio ($35), Bowties full set ($50): $425,

This is tv worthy, air it associated! Maybe if enough people see it and buy it, the stock spec class will come back!

@driftingdonuts oh ya I remember the lucas oil was on speed channel
I still prefer the original ad for the SC10 - which was mixed though with lots of footage of the SC8 haha.
Unfortunately, short course rc racing didn't evolve into what was filmed back then: they showed us trucks drifting and powersliding and fenderbashing. Look at it what it is now? Highprecision racing using 2wd-4wd trucks, you spend $1000 and upwards on the kit+motor+batteries, race on superhigh traction clay and blugroove... All because no real SC tracks were made, anywhere.
