  • wow here is a video that kinda brings a tear to my eye..reason being is my cousin who was "special" absolutely loved the dukes of hazzard but sadly he passed on last year but he is the reason I always loved the dukes of hazzard and someday I will make it to that museum. done met bo duke in birmingham but would love to meet cooter and the rest of the gang..thanks for posting this video

  • @blazerlover25 well there is one of those in Nashville and i'm told there is also one in Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge as well now but i don't know that for a fact, the one in Nashville is bigger and seems to have a larger more complete collection of the old memorabelia stuff though from what i could tell, i saw a couple videos besides mine on here of those museums is the only way i know the others even exist at all.

  • Great Video man.. took ur time.. thanks for posting.... dumbs up!!

  • @uspervs1 most welcome. glad you enjoyed it.

  • wow. looks great, ive gotta go there.

  • @ClassicRockfan79 well it's kind of touristy but for Die hard Dukes fans it's like a treasure trove of memorabelia. they put a lot of work into that place for sure so if you are into the show at all and happen to be in Nashville Cooter's garage is a pretty neat place to stop by and see. it's right across from the Opryland Hotel & convention center.

  • Then you would see a floor shifter then a shifter on the steering collomn then a four speed. then some had a center console and bucket seats then next scene it would have a bench seat. All in all it was a great experience that I will never forget. another interesting point is that a lot of the car chases were filmed in Lake Sherwood which is now where Tiger Woods golf tounement is held every December.Awsome video. thx for porting it. Anything you want to know about the show, let me know..; )

  • Not trying to dis you by stating that about the 2 wheels thing. Great video though. I used to work on that show along with the A team and hard castle and mccormick. but doin this show was my favorite to work on. They had 5 or 6 body shops that would get 68, 69 and 70 chargers and put the head and tail light to make them all look like a 69 or 70. If you look closely at the cars in the show, sometimes it had a finned rear window and then a "500 rear window.

  • No they didn't have the car on a stand. Stunt men (several of them) drove the cars on two wheels .

  • @daddytech i grew up with the show, still love it, still buy a lot of old dukes collectors items, ive met james best, sonny shroyer, and john schneider several times. been a dukes fan for 30 years, but ive never went to cooters place, ive heard a lot about it, and i actually think there is also one in northern VA, but from the looks of this video this one is actually better than i had thaught, i would love to visit it next spring.
