can anyone tell me if you sew in crochet thread, size 10 the same way that you weave in crochet yarn?

Exactly what I needed - just love that we can watch and learn rather than just read and hope we understood. :) Thank you!

There are a lot of videos to look through. I have tried to categorize them in playlists. I am sorry it was difficult for you to find.
You can run the tails either way. If you run them in the seam and if the tail comes out, it will be hidden on the underarm. If you run the tails through the stitches then it is secure between stitches. I have had good results with both.

You are welcome. :)

I have often wondered, now I know! I never liked the part about sewing in the tails. Now it will be a breeze for me. Thank you.

When sewing in tails, It is really not a big deal if you go through the stitches or if you happen to go through the middle of the strand of yarn. I have often thought that if you do go through the strands, that the tail may be more secure because of the natural twist of the yarn and the little hair fibers may grab a hold of the other fibers. Sewing in tails is the only time it is alright to go between strand fibers. You do want to avoid it when making your crochet stitches.

(rest of comment above) I don't guess it is a really big deal, is it? The results look about the same, don't they, and hold up nicely when the pieces (dishcloths) are used? Thanks again for your help. I am making a confident comeback to crochet after about 30 years or so.
is it better to sew ends in as you go or at the end...?

@natasjja99 You can do it either way. Sometimes one of the choices may work better, depending on the project.
