There's a fire at this apartment complex at least every few years. I remember the huge pool house fire back in the early 90's. It woke everyone up from their sleep. The smoke was terrible.

I'm not positive on the cause. I "heard" on the scene that there may have been kids lighting smoke bombs in a vacant apartment. As far as time, I think there were crews out for as long as four hours. I know we were there for at least 3. The fire was stubborn as it got into the attic/roof which had a layer of rubber or something on it that made it hard to get to.
