Here is my new 3 HP Briggs & Stratton/Sears Craftsman air compressor that I got at Stanton trade days. I am using it to air up the tires on the Allis tractor...it had a cracked rod in the engine and got stuck out in the field...it will be towed up to the barn for engine repairs.

  • i guess you'll need a john deere to replace it for now lol!

  • A co-worker said he would let me borrow his Ford 9N so I could get the fields mowed and help pull the Allis out. I need to remind him that he offered to do this as the weeds are about 3ft high because of rain! I am going to try and repair this one but I wouldn't care at all what brand of tractor I had as long it had a 3pt hitch and would run! Tractors tend to be more expensive in this area because it's not farm country really but cattle ranches.

  • Seafoam is GREAT stuff !!!!

  • Yes it is! I had heard about it for a long time but haven't used it till now...it really seems to have helped.

  • Ive heard only bad hings about tht sea foam

  • Allis Cahlmers was one of uSA's finest manufacturers. They made 20 Hp garden tractors, construction equipment, and also made ehuge engines to power ships!

  • yeah, and a few extra spark plugs also

  • That compressor sounds about ready to die on you!

  • good luck fixing it anyways. how long would a tank of gas take you before you had to refill it? because john deere had always claimed they had the best economy? but iv never been able to comair them to even find out. my model l was supposed to be able to plow or work under load all day and then some without stopping to refuel. it only holds 6gallons

  • well here in NY state old tractors are plentifull and often for sale cheap if you know where to look!

  • my dad owns a cocrete buisness and he uses seafoam in all his equiptment and trucks. we also use it inare tractors. we have about 21-23 allis chalmers . my dad grew up witch 2 wd's. so now we collect them.

  • will u send a video of u pulling it out ?
