Here is the Hot Tub that we built, It is a spill over spa that we converted into a stand alone hot tub. It runs off a 3/4 HP pump up to 400' of 1/2" food grade black tubing. On a hot summer day it can raise the hot tub as much as 10-12 degrees.
The hottest this Hot Tub was this summer (2010) was 113 degrees.
This works great on sunny days, if cloudy then close the valve so the hot tub will stay warm.
