Hello, and welcome to part 1 of the news/information video series I will be making for the upcoming Legend of Zelda game. I will be covering all of the latest news and info on the game. This part is about the basics of the game; like the storyline, gameplay, items, etc.

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is the tentative title of an action-adventure video game in development by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS handheld game console.

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced the game at the 2009 Game Developers Conference and set its release date for late 2009. The game will feature a cel-shaded art style similar to that of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Spirit Tracks's protagonist, Link, will be able to travel across the game's overworld using a cannon-equipped steam train much like the steamboat in Phantom Hourglass. Link will also be able to control a Phantom, one of the enemies from Phantom Hourglass. Spirit Tracks takes place a century after the events of Phantom Hourglass.

the demon kings name is mallard, not demon king. and more about the story is that a enemy named cole planned to kill zelda. then the spirit tracks started to go away. the demon king mallard was free and had a new army and got revenge. link and zelda were on a adventure and met up with cole and cole killed zelda. then she was only a spirit. and link was the only one that could see her spirit. then they were on an adventure to return the spirit tracks and zeldas spirit could control all phantoms..

i dont think this is 100 years away and tis not a new link its the ame one like phantom hourglass cause look at the pirate next to them its a liitle bit far from hourglass so its not 100 years and nintendo would teelll us so well just see reply to my answer to see if im wrong

im thinking about getting this game cause i JUST beat phantom hourglass, which i LOVED! the story, linebeck, the ghost ship and sailing in the sea...WONDERFUL! but i was told that this game was tedious and annoying. but i NEED to get another game to play!

noooo idiot it takes place at links home villiage!!!! in all the zelda games it's links home village not hyrule GOD did u only like look at the screenshot's or somethin, coz it sounds to me that u havent played a zelda game before

It does not take place in hyrule it takes place after link and tetra from wind waker search out to find a new place for the hyruleans after they leave the king in hyrule and this is were they go hyrule is in the bottom of the ocean along with atlantis.
