A video of master chocolatier Jean-Paul Hévin making a whole range of chocolate drinks

Asia Tatler Dining is proud to announce the launch of our new series, The Epicurean Express. This is a video series in which we will ask chefs to demonstrate a signature dish from different regions around the world. We will showcase the most popular dishes such as pizza and pasta, curries, rice and noodles, dim sum, to name just a few.
To kick-start our new series, we have asked Jean-Paul Hévin, master chocolatier - whose hot chocolate was awarded "best hot chocolate" in 2010 by Le Figaroscope - to demonstrate how to make a classic French hot chocolate. At his Bar à Chocolat in IFC, Hévin has a number of hot chocolates on the menu, using chocolates from Central America, Columbia, Madagascar and Venezuela.
In this video, Hévin creates four different types of chocolate drinks and gives us his tips on how to whisk hot chocolate as well as how to create new variations of chocolate that display not only a whole new range of flavours, but also textures.
