At least this time we got a vid, when Hezbollah kidnapped two soldiers, which led to the last Lebanese war, Israel let out prisoners in exchange, and got two dead bodies. Actual prisoners were let go for dead bodies.

Israel has to stop with the pampering terrorists. It will never work out in Israel's favor giving in to terrorism, it only will lead to more terrorism.

Schalit is a Prisoner of War; he does not have to be released until teh hostilities are over AKA Armisitce, if not a Peace Treaty.

Be happy that he has not been on Trial for War Crimes: Regardless that he may be found innocent.

 It would mandate Palestinians to establish procedural & evidentiary rules consist with International Law standards; thus establishing a forum to present other grievances & prosecute any IDF captured & Israel settlers taken into custody in the future.

Netanyahu gave the Palestinian's exactly what they asked for in 2006, only then, they offered to release Shalit rather than a video of him.

Shalit is nothing more than a pawn right now for both sides. Israel's brute force approach has been an abject failure. Between incompetent leadership, questionable incursions, and war crimes, it's no wonder Israel is in it's current position.

The "settlements" are costing them far more than they realize.

german mediators had to be brought in to come up with this pathetic result? 20 terrorists for a VIDEO?? how dare any of them be proud. is it true Shalit is in gaza? how can netanyahu sleep knowing this kid is just a few miles away? its like from my house to my friends house. im hoping there is something im not understanding because none of it makes sense. neither does making him an italian citizen...wtf kind of waste of paper was that? another empty gesture while Shalit suffers. all be ashamed.
