In fact the dark skin spots, which we are talking about, are called nevi but when you see this diagram you will find out why the common people use the word mole. It looks like a molehill, isnt it? The heaping of melanocytes causes the dark spot on the skin or the well known mole.
What will happen if you do a Wrong cut during the home mole removal?
If you cut the top of the raised mole, the melanocytes from below will stay in the skin and will proceed its development. After such cutting the mole could look faded but it is still there. In the best case youll have to repeat this procedure of raised ole removal again after few months.
