  • You've done well mate, a good inspiration!!

  • @CATMUSCLE

    Thanks

  • Best of luck to you Graeme,,, I'm just a driver,, never had the desire to own,,, The dropdeck was a good move I think,,, you'd be doing at least as well as with the Bdouble,, with all the over height and width you are doing,,, and 1/2 to 2/3 of the running costs

  • @TARBABY71 Your on the money, but am getting sick of the bullshit you got go through I seem to be a magnet for the heavies in WA, last pull up they had cops waiting for me.I knew I was going to get a ticket before I stopped the truck ! 2 heavies and 2 cops After 10 minutes of looking they put a yellow sticker on me for an oil leak and a cracked windscreen hung shit on me Then laughed at my chances of being back in WA with in the 10 days to clear it . sorry for the soap box thanx OZ

  • when u got that lowboy/stepdeck after the b-double should of kept the front trailer but then it properly wont work

  • @miniv8 With the A trailer I would end up about 2 metres overlength.

Australin law makers seem to think that doing a u turn is more important than the comfort of the driver so to run a 34 pallet b-double you have to have a small bunk with a short wheel base or a coe truck.

    Thanks for the comment Oz

  • @mickthegodofallevil I am a truckie from OZ living in the UK. I was in Ireland first where I was able to transfer my aussie licence for an Irish one. I used that for 12 months in the UK, then tried to transfer the Irish licence for a UK one, did the medical. all the bullshit, only to be told they would give me a class b only because I did my driving test in Australia. So now I have to do a driving test in the UK. I have a good boss here and he has given me a job shunting until I get my C+E
