This is part two of my interview with evengelical leader Bishop Harry Jackson Jr. head of the High Impact Leadership Coalition, pastor of the Hope Christian Church in Maryland and is on the board of the National Association of Evangelicals. He recently said that John McCain needs to be more vocal about his support of marriage amendments in several states in light of his chief of staff now being known as gay. My interview, however, showed what seems to be a developing split among evangelicals on gay relationships. Jackson is now favoring civil unions. In part one we talk about McCain's chief of staff. In part two we talk about the split and also talk about Sarah Palin's comments on gay marriage in the debate, and what evangelicals thought of her not distinguishing herself from Obama and Biden on gay issues, though we know she certainly supports them.
