@azz6014 ...Changed mine this morning,there are 2 different sizes a 35 and a 40 mine was smaller of the 2 at 35.Ended up going to B+Q which cost me £15.00 it even came with 3 keys so not to bad.
I hate to think what a locksmith would of charged me!!...

There are a few techniques but I have never tried any of them. Just search for lock bumping or lock snapping and it should show a few methods. I do not know which one works though!

thanks for that. I have watched the videos you recomended but I am worried about damaging the door. Can the lock be drilled out. Funny thing is I am a cabinet maker but have never used these locks or upvc doors, just wood.

I have heard that you can drill directly below the key hole, which drills out the pins and enables you to turn the latch but I have never tried it, sorry I can't be more help
