"The Beyond" is the second part of Lucio Fulci's "Gates of Hell" trilogy and is not just his best movie, it is also one of the biggest cult classics of all time. With it's surreal and nightmarish imagery the movie creates a really creepy atmosphere. Together with the awesome over the top gore effects, a new horror classic was born. Another important factor was the soundtrack by Fabio Frizzi, which was as nightmarish as the movie's imagery. Truly a creepy zombie classic.
A masterpiece!
