Why are people surprised? We owe 6.8 TRILLION dollars to foreign investors. This has been known as a bribe to greedy foreign investors from the start in a classic shakedown. We pay them to cover their loses in the subprime fiasco, or they call in their 6.8 TRILLION dollar marker. Surprise!
