  • Jeeze, shes a BIG girl....and from what I hear this one is just the little sister. The Ares V is bigger than a Saturn V(which i believe is the biggest rocket ever created)...anyone know the Ares V test date?

  • @sgtgiggles currently, Obama is planning to shut down the Constellation program, including the Ares-I and Ares-V rockets.

But the Senate still has to vote about it so it isn't sure it's going through.

With the current planning, the Ares-V will make it's first test flight in 2019/20. But that it likely to slip some years later.

  • Not really launch til splashdown: the former missing

  • Yes, I'm sorry. That part is the video before.

  • Don't you dare skimp on funding our space program, Mr. Obama.

  • What makes you think he is going too? If anything he looks like the kind of guy to increase it. BTW, since 61 till 69 the presidents - Kennedy & Johnson - were democrats. You know what had US achieved during that time, don't you?

  • @ceeam that is true, but the space race was also a political thing with the soviets. There isn't as much interest in space anymore.

  • Yeah :(

  • @rougueg I'm sure it will -- by China.

  • @ceeam Think again!

  • Awesome jack knifing separation!!

  • NASA's budget was also running around 5% of total US budget. Approximately 10 times the budget it has now.

  • Thanks a lot for uploading, much appreciated
