We planned a full night at the 'Big Gun'station this time.
Our main focus would be 40 meter CW and SSB.I also wamted to work 3Y0E and CE0Z/LA6IKA as a new country.
Pile ups were hugh from South-America and we enjoyed the good signals from VK/ZL long path in the morning.Enjoy watching the video, 73/Rob/PA3GVI

  • where do you guys got all the money to built that big monster antenna? I can't afford to buy a 150 dollar dipole

  • @PEKADORSANCHEZ

This is 'not' owned by ourselfs but is the former Radio Netherlands antenna site.We were invited to use the large Broadcast antennas a couple times.

  • How did you plug into the coax line and manage the switching matrix? I know I don't have a PL-259 to 6 1/8 EIA adaptor in my toolbox!! Very impressive antenna system

    73 Dave

  • Dave, we connected to a N-connector in the matrix field.Switching the antennas was done by hand.

    Array has 22dB gain.

    73, thanks for watching.

  • Wow. Can I live there? I could watch everything if you just let me use the equipment. HI

  • Sure,...why not Glenn...with the other 104.576 volunteers!

    73 and thanks for watching.
