This video shows the fabrication, assembly, install and test of a 25 kW hydrokinetic turbine that generates power from a flowing stream of water without the need for a dam or water diversion. 25 kW is enough to supply power to 20 North American homes or 50 European homes. These turbines can be installed in rivers, irrigation canals, industrial outflows, and even the tides. They can range in size from about 3 kW to over 1 MW.

By god - cowboys !
All water turbines need to be lowered vertically using a crane.
Even better is a tensile support structure designed to raise and lower the unit for services and initial installation.
They are lucky the turbine blades did nto start to shear off.
