These events are High Performance Driving Experiences, HPDE, run at HOMESTEAD-MIAMI SPEEDWAY & SEBRING RACEWAY with Hooked on Driving & Chin Motorsports in 2010. HPDE programs are open to drivers who desire the thrill of learning road course high speed driving techniques with instruction and rules based on tiered groups organized on ability and experience. Most of the cars are street legal and in good mechanical condition and range from Volkswagens to Ferraris. Race prepared cars often use HPDE to practice and they run in the advanced group. Typical one day fees are around $300 for 3 to 4 plus hours of hot track time.. TIRE KINGDOM and CBUCK Engineering support the # 210 Mustang in these grass roots track events. My tires are speed rated Y (186 MPH) YOKOHAMA S.drives and they give me very good treadwear longevity.
